Museum lighting is defined as part of the artistic expression. It is a very important factor of visual ergonomics which can be considered as a secondary language spoken through the exhibitions.
These beautiful photos of the city of Meknes national museum of music, perfectly reflects this description, thanks to a very well defined and custom made lighting and lighting design.
The scenography as well as the lighting design realized by Awad Kaddari is a pure delight for the eyes. The instruments seem to float within their showcases while SPX Lighting’s lighting fixtures highlight the textures and colors of the artefacts, giving back their natural and original state to textiles and materials as if time had no impact, and of course respectful of the conservation recommendations applying.
